We got both our proposal ring & wedding band from our beloved friends, Jonathan & Charlene (Huixian). Simply adore the hearts & arrows setting. =)
Bridal Package
We went for bridal fair totally clueless! Lucky I made a 911 call to Kelly! So after cheapo-ing here & there, we sign up with this "unknown" bridal shop (they say they had been around for over 10yrs... but can't find any reviews on forum or such. =/ ). We are happy with the price we paid. And the uncle that spoke to us is really nice.
Update (Sep 2012): Signoria had bought over by Bliss Bridal, and we think it might be a blessing in disgust! We are happy with our gowns and photos. The coordinators are nice and accompanying, and we like our photos! No complains, and will definitely recommend!
Banquet Venue
We set out our search for a Banquet Venue that is value for money. No fanciful thing, all we want is good food and good location. We know we hit the jackpot when we found Orchard Parade Hotel.
Location @ Orchard, checked. Foods are cater from TungLok (I dun need to tell u how great the foods is ya?), CHECKED! Although the ballroom have 4 pillars, and the ceiling are low, we can overlook it as we believe the foods can make up for it. There are couples who want their wedding to be a grand affairs, but we choose to have a happy makan-ing affairs, and hope you feel the same. =)
Matrimony Venue
It come naturally of coz. Jess grew up in Hougang and attend mass there. This church is of coz the only place she would want to get married in. Under the blessing of God, no one will be able to seperate what God had join.
Foods, Glorious Foods!
Jess (the resourceful bride) together with Bestman Jerry, comb the industry for caterer. We almost settle for smiling orchids coz it look kinda of good, and reviews are good too. Den, fate work it magic one day when Jess was checking foodline.sg to see if she could get any cash back from smiling orchid (sadly, no), and she chanced upon "Kuisine". New company, only 1 blog review, but a gut feeling that this is the ONE!
Although their menus are below my budget, Don from Kuisine kindly design a menu based on my budget, and it look so good! I almost wanna get Or Ni, but it will look so weird for a outdoor event. (>.<) Nevermind, next time!
Actual Day Photographer & Videographer
This company the love attic is actually set up by Gavin's Army friend. So we met him up to discuss about his package. The friendship price is hard to resist, and I love his style! So without hesitating, we decide it will be him! Lucky for us, they are having a promo for new sign up that include pre-wedding videography & photography. Shall use it as my engagement shoot! =D
When we know Ronald decide to go full-time to wedding photography, we know he must be part of our special day. Since we have not sign up with anyone for our matrimony, we quickly grab Ronald. Love the passion & Ron's eye for details. :)
